About
Welcome!
I am so glad you are here, and I hope that in this small space, I can help you get to know me a bit. But, we’ll get to that in a minute.
First off, I know that whatever brings you here has likely been difficult, and I’m certain your journey hasn’t been an easy one. I hope that the first message I can convey is that you are NOT alone. Reaching out for help takes such a huge amount of courage and bravery. I recognize the strength that goes into allowing someone else to join alongside you on this journey of self-discovery and change.
Whether you are currently struggling with an eating disorder, self-harm behaviors, depression, anxiety, or a past history of trauma or relational issues, I am here to help you. I will not judge you, and you will be met in my office with respect, compassion, and equality. I will join with you, and together we will tackle the current struggles in your life. You can rest assured that you will be listened to and collaborated with throughout this therapeutic process.
Therapy is a journey, and it’s one that I am privileged to join my clients on. Through my years in training to become a licensed clinical psychologist, and beyond, I have narrowed in on and specialized in the treatment of eating disorders, and am currently pursuing my iaedp (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals) certification.
I also am a real person, and one that will be active throughout the therapeutic journey with you. I am not a “sit and nod” therapist, and I will be engaged with you from the moment you come through my door.
I hope to meet you soon! Please click below to learn more and contact me today.
